St Peter’s is a small evangelical Anglican church, part of the Diocese of Chester. Our aim is to glorify God by growing as a community of believers, committed to serving Christ, the people of Rock Ferry and the church across the world.

Our main church family meeting is Sunday 10:30am, followed by an informal all age service at 4:30pm

These things are important to us:

The Bible, as God’s word written, bringing life and shaping our lives. We aim to teach the Bible faithfully, clearly and interestingly, in sermons when we meet as a church on Sundays and in our home groups when people meet in small groups through the week.

Our praying, as the right way for us to depend on the God who rules over us. We want to encourage all our church members to pray with commitment and with biblical insight. We pray on Sundays, in home groups, in prayer triplets and once at a month at a central prayer meeting.

Our church family, as we encourage and care for one another. We welcome all who come to us and hope that they will find encouraging friendships. Our coffee after church, our social events, and times away as a church are important to us, as well as the many ways people care for each other individually.

Our neighbours, the people who live in Rock Ferry, helping them in practical ways and telling them the good news of Jesus Christ. If you go to the showing page you will find out more about the formal ways we do this, but we also encourage all our church members to be good neighbours to the people around them.
